Financiers Networking Forum


The Ministry of Industry and Trade, working with the Malawi Investment and Trade Center, wishes to announce that it has organized a networking forum for selected international financial institutions and the private sector in Malawi.   The forum will take place in Blantyre on the 10th of May 2016 at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel.
The overarching objective of this forum is to create a conducive environment where private sector companies and entrepreneurs that have bankable project proposals can meet and discuss with the financiers on project financial support and/or equity participation, among other possible models.

Zimbabwe Trade Fair

MITC is pleased to invite all Malawian companies to 57th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair event, scheduled for 26th April – 30th April 2016, to take place at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair grounds in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
The event provides a good platform for exhibitors and business visitors from Sub-Sahara Africa and beyond to meet and network, explore new markets and new ideas for continued economic prosperity in the region.
The theme for this year's Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is "Innovate, Integrate, Industrialize".

Universal Exhibition Expo
Universal Exhibition EXPO 18th – 19th September 2015
The European Commission – the Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMES has organized a focused event on EU-Sub Saharan Africa that will see the participation of European and African companies, clusters and Institutions. The event will take place in Milan, Italy.
The event will allow participants to get information on the European Commission tools supporting SMEs and the business relations between Europe and Sub Saharan Africa. Further to this, participants will also have the chance to meet Sub Saharan African and European counterparts during the B2B sessions in order to discuss concrete cooperation projects in business, technology transfer and research.
